Whether you’re on the bus, in the car or on your bike, it’s clear that we need better ways to connect people to their community and the places they want to go.
That’s why at the last election, I promised that the Palaszczuk Labor Government would fund a local transport and mobility study.
This important piece of work will also be be undertaken in conjunction with Brisbane City Council, not only because they’re responsible for our local roads but, also because locals often say to me they want the two levels of government working better together to find solutions to big issues like local congestion.
So, while we get the Transport and Mobility Study (TMS) started, let me know your views, ideas and concerns.
If you live in South Brisbane, take my quick local survey - let me know what you think - and I’ll keep you updated so we can make sure this transport and mobility study delivers for our local community.
